The ESF/FBProgramme has been a coordinated effort to stimulate and to integrate the European research on the mathematical treatment of free boundary problems, that will have a limited number of grants available in his last year of activities. All Free Boundary Problem (FBP) grant applications will be evaluated by the Scientific Steering Committee. Grants are available in Europe to applicants working in all European countries.
(Up to three months) are for conducting specific research projects and/or for gaining experience in mathematical research of FBP. Applicants must submit a research project and provide two recomendation letters with their Curriculum Vitae.
(Up to 10 days) are for research missions with an immediate relevance to the applicant's current research project. Applicants should supply adequate explanation of the relevance of the mission and ask for a recommendation from at least two Steering Committee members.
